IEP Parent Coach and Advocate Program
An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) can be a confusing, frustrating, and overwhelming journey for families. I help break down and simplify the exhausting IEP process for parents and their children. The system is complicated, and at times IEP meetings can become contentious. Parents call me for a consultation to review their child’s IEP or hire me to advocate for their child by writing the appropriate letters, or they may have me attend their child’s IEP meeting. I work with families to develop a positive relationship with their child’s IEP team ensuring everyone is working together and their classroom environment is a positive place where the child is learning and progressing academically and emotionally.
